About the event
The YMCA invites you to take part in our Truth and Reconciliation Day event on Saturday, September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Canadian Museum of History.
In partnership with Canoo, this special event is an opportunity to reflect on Indigenous histories and experiences, and to walk together toward a shared path of understanding and healing.
Highlights include:🌿 Guided tours of the First Peoples Hall exhibits (offered in English and French)🌿 Meaningful conversations and shared experiences in a welcoming, inclusive space
This free event is open to permanent residents and their families, especially newcomers who have arrived in the last year, as well as those who’ve been in Canada longer. Families and adults of all ages are welcome.
